Due to variations in computer monitor technology, which occur from one computer to another, it is possible that final product may look different. This is natural, as even high-tech printers cannot exactly emulate the color offered on LCD screens. Also, in some instances, the image will need to be fitted to the 4:3 ratio, but this will be done in a way so as to not diminish (and actually increase) its visual asthetic.
Optimal viewing distance refers to the best distance from which a photo is viewed & appreciated. Larger images will have longer optimal viewing distances, whilie smaller images have shorter optimal viewing distances (imagine looking at a billboard from 3ft away--you would not be able to observe and enjoy the entire image; likewise, looking at an 8x10 print from 50ft away won't allow you to get the most out of the viewing experience either).
Research in graphic design has developed a formula, which is dependent on image resolution and print size, to determine optimal viewing distance. I apply this formula to the discriptions of each image on here.
When purchasing a print, be mindful of where you place it in the home, office, or anywhere else, so that images may be enjoyed to their fullest.
